The scarlet runner beans I once saw in the arboretum of Minnesota and it attracted me at first sight with their vibrant flowers and lush green leaves. The first thought occurred to me that the hummingbirds would love them, so afterwards, I started looking for those seeds. After some time, I found the seeds at Lowe’s and planted them in our backyard arbor, dreaming of hummingbirds, and it worked 100 percent! I was so happy to see the hummingbirds around them, and I cooked the beans as well; we ate them, and they were delicious. Surely I will plant them this time too.

Planting benefits of scarlet runner beans
Bursting with vibrant, fiery red blossoms, these enchanting beans wonderfully invite beneficial pollinators like bees and hummingbirds, which play a crucial role in nurturing a thriving ecosystem. Beyond their beauty, scarlet runner beans are remarkable nitrogen-fixing plants, enriching the soil by transforming atmospheric nitrogen into a nourishing form for plants, ensuring our gardens bloom brilliantly over time. Their adventurous climbing habit allows them to gracefully scale trellises, fences, and other supports, maximizing vertical space and creating a lush green tapestry that brings such joy. I wholeheartedly encourage you to add a scarlet runner bean to your garden.
