Growing the Oxalis Iron Cross: A Gardener’s Delight

Oxalis iron cross, also known as the lucky clover plant, has captivated me! During my recent trip to Bachman’s shop for dahlias, I discovered striking bulbs that look like peacock orchids. The vibrant pink flowers and unique leaves caught my eye, so I bought some for my garden. I planted some in a hanging container and others in a separate pot to see how they grow. To my delight, the iron cross plant flourished and added beautiful color and texture to our garden! The lush green leaves with maroon centers contrast nicely with the bright pink flowers. In the sunlight, the flowers open up like elegant umbrellas, and as evening comes, they close gracefully, resembling delicate umbrellas and adding charm to our garden.
