Huge Beautiful Cockscomb from the garden

I have grown cockscomb plants before, but none have thrived like this one; it is impressively large! Last year, I collected seeds from one of the stunning bouquets and started them at the end of April, planting them in pots in May. I placed them in various spots around my garden, and while all are doing well, this one truly stands out with its remarkable growth and vitality.
The cockscomb plant boasts beautiful and vibrant flowers, and it is a delightful annual in Minnesota. It derives its name from its unique, crested flower head that resembles a rooster’s comb, adding a playful touch to any garden. Cockscombs display distinctive flower clusters blooming in an array of colors; ours is a stunning dark pink that captivates everyone’s attention. They are a beloved choice among gardeners for both fresh and dried arrangements, often becoming the centerpiece of mixed bouquets or displays. With just the right care, the cockscomb plant flourishes, infusing my garden with vibrant color all season long!
