This is the smallest dahlia flower this year from the garden. Mini pompon dahlias are known for their small, round flowers that are less than 2 inches (5 cm) wide. Their petals are tightly packed and curve inward, giving them a symmetrical shape. They are related to ball dahlias, which are also round but have larger flowers, measuring 2 to 4 inches (5–10 cm) in diameter.
