Tuna Fish Fry

This is a simple pan fried fish recipe, which we make at our home. The secret ingredient to this recipe is the curry leaf powder (it is better to use the paste made from fresh curry leaves, but curry leaf powder is an easy alternative). Adding curry leaf powder/paste gives you the extra taste to this fried fish. When you get a chance, give it a try.

  • Tuna ————————————1 lb (cut it into big cubes)
  • Indian chili powder ———- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ————– 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves powder ——– 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper ———————- 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder ————- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil ————————- 1 tbs

How To Make

  • Mix all the ingredients together except the cooking oil
  • Marinate it for 10 to 15 minutes
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wide pan
  • Add the marinated tuna pieces
  • Once one side is cooked, flip them to the other side
  • Both sides will be cooked in about 10 minutes
  • Take it out and enjoy with rice
