This week our garden has bloomed with crocus flowers; these are the first flower blooms in the garden and serve as a reminder of spring’s arrival. Especially since we live in Minnesota, after the long winter, the flowers bring lots of brightness and hope. The yellow crocus and Scilla forbesii, also known as Forbes glory-of-the-snow, are the only perennial bulbs blooming right now. The tulips and the other bulbs are on the way.
