Breadfruit Kootu

Breadfruit tree is a commonly seen tree in our hometown. We usually make kootu (side dish) for rice using the breadfruit, but you can make chips and some desserts too. In Minnesota, the frozen breadfruit is available in the Indian grocery stores, but occasionally they will have the fresh ones too. When we see the fresh ones, we get it and make this side dish. It is one of my favorites, so whenever I cook it, I feel like home.

How To Make
