Poppies are one of my favorite flowers, I was thinking about planting poppies in our garden for few years, but it didn’t happen until this year. I love the bright colors and the flowers bring instant beauty to the garden.

This time I sow the seeds of annual poppies, but next time I am planning to add the perennial ones too. I have tried two varieties of poppies this time, the bright red and orange. I think planting poppies are great rewarding to any garden lovers.

Poppies are easy to grow, so beginner gardeners also can try and it will grow great in pots too. I also have some potted poppies. Here is a picture of beautiful poppies from our garden.
