At this time of year in our garden, all the tulip flowers are showing their beauty, but this particular tulip was an unexpected belle among its peers. The “White Triumphator” variety of tulip looks like a beautiful swan. In the picture below, you can see this tulip in my garden surrounded by pretty pink columbine flowers. The columbines end up looking like little lanterns surrounding a majestic swan and it makes the Triumphator all the more beautiful. This tulip is definitely one of the best in our garden and we’ll be sad to see it go as summer hits its peak.
