How to grow plant bulbs in water?

For the last few years I was growing hyacinth bulbs in water, it was so successful, so this year I decided to grow some other bulbs like paperwhites and tulips. I used the same method of growing hyacinth bulbs for this too. Here is the link to my previous post on the hyacinth bulbs. I started the paperwhites and tulips on November 17th. The paperwhites are growing very fast and the tulips are coming along. I started the hyacinth bulbs last week only, but the roots already started growing and making me happy.
