We have been using tree branches for the hummingbirds’ perch.Use a tree branch as a perch for hummingbirds by placing it near their favorite flowers and feeders. When we trim the trees, we usually save a few tree branches to use for hummingbird perches. Then we take off all the leaves from the branches and kept them in different places in our garden, making them look like small trees. If you ask, “Do they really work?” Yes, they have been working one hundred percent for us. I hang the hummingbird feeders on those branches, so they can drink from the feeder and rest on that branch. Sometimes they preen, enjoy the rain, warm themselves in the sun, or simply sit on that tree branch. The interesting thing is they stay most of the time on those branches, so we can enjoy watching them a lot. Nowadays, I have been seeing lots of hummingbird perches in the shops. I am not sure how they work, but this one works like a charm.

When you choose a tree branch, choose a thin branch. We have put two branches in our garden, one is near a peach tree and another one is near a pear tree. Then usually I plant lots of flowering plants around them, which makes the place really beautiful.

Many times our guests asked us why this tree is not alive. we have to explain to them that it is not a live tree, it is a hummingbird tree.
