Spilled flowerpots are a fantastic addition to any garden! Here’s a joyful guide on how to create a stunning spilled flowerpot. Each year, we joyfully select a different color of flowers to keep it fresh and inviting. Petunias, celebrated for their vibrant colors, are one of my top favorites! This year, I picked two beautiful shades of petunia in purple and yellow, which contrast beautifully. While the yellow ones didn’t make it this time, I’m thrilled to see the purple ones thriving and looking gorgeous! In addition, an annual poppy just popped up and has also become a part of the spilled flowerpot. I adore petunias not only for their stunning appearance but also for their remarkable ability to bloom until fall, flourishing even in unpredictable Minnesota weather. Our spilled flowerpot evolves throughout the season, with the background plants adding layers of texture and color that create a lively display showcasing the beauty of nature. You can see the delightful differences in the pictures below, highlighting the joy each blooming phase brings to our enchanting garden oasis!
