Snow peas are so versatile because you can eat them raw, or add them to salads. In this post, I’m going to make a South Indian style poriyal from snow peas. It pairs really nicely with rice, but you can eat it as a side dish for oats as well.

- For Seasoning
- Cooking oil ——————- 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds —————- 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds ————- 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves —————– 2 springs

How to make
- Wash and snip off both ends of snow peas
- Cut it into small pieces
- Place a pan on the stove in medium heat
- Add oil and once it gets hot, add the mustard seeds
- After the mustard seed crackles, add the cumin seeds and curry leaves
- Add the cut onions and saute for 2 minutes
- Now add the snow peas and saute for 5 minutes
- Add the spices and salt and mix them well
- After a minute, add the grated coconut and mix it well
- Cook for two more minutes and switch off the stove
- It should be ready to serve
