Garlic And Honey

Most of you must have heard about the incredible benefits of garlic. Garlic is traditionally used to treat cold and cough. Garlic and honey have been used in traditional medicine around the world. In our home we often make this garlic infused with honey, so I thought of sharing it. Some people recommend consuming it in empty stomach, but we normally consume in the night. Even sometimes I eat it, when I want to have some sweet. If you keep it for three months or longer, it will become like candy.

Things you need

  • Garlic ———– 5
  • Honey
  • Glass bottle

How to make

  • Peel off the garlic skin
  • Slightly crush the garlic using a mortar and pestle
  • And put them in a dry glass bottle
  • Add honey to cover up to the top of the garlic
  • Close the bottle airtight and keep it in a dark place (I usually keep it inside the shelf)
  • Then, after 20 to 30 days, you can start consuming (longer is better)
  • It will be very sweet and tasty


  • Sometimes we slice the garlic instead of crushing
  • Make sure that there is no water content in the bottle or garlic, otherwise it will start forming fungus
