This is a quick and easy recipe with ginger. And it is a very tasty chutney too. People have used ginger in cooking since ancient times. Basically ginger has lots of medicinal benefits, so I try to use it in my cooking everyday. Try it and if you like, please let me know.

Ingredients
- Ginger —————————- one big piece
- Grated coconut ————- 1/2 cup
- Crushed jaggery ———– 1 tsp
- Tamarind ———————- tiny ball size
- Dry chilies———————- 2
- Garlic pod ———————- 1
- Cumin seeds —————— 1/2 tsp
- Cooking oil ——————— 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste

How To Make
- Wash the ginger, peel the skin off and cut it into small pieces
- Heat the oil in a heavy bottom pan and add the ginger pieces
- Stir fry until it becomes light golden color about 4 minutes
- Now add all the ingredients into a mixer and grind it into medium fine paste (no need to add water)
Notes
- I usually have this with kanji
- An additional side dish with Idli or dosa
- Sometimes use it as side dish for rice too
