Swiss Chard Egg Omelet

This year we had an abundant produce of swiss chard spinach in our garden, so I tried to make different kinds of dishes from that. Swiss chard egg omelet is one of them. It came out really well, I liked the taste and suggest you to give it a try.


  • Eggs ——————— 2
  • Swiss chard ——— 1 small bunch (cut it into small pieces)
  • Red onion ———— 1/2 (cut it into small pieces)
  • Green chili ———– 1 (cut it into small pieces)
  • Cooking oil ———– 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How To Make

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the cut swiss chard, onion, salt, chili pieces then whisk them all together
  • Heat a teaspoon of oil in a small cast iron pan on medium heat
  • Add the whisked egg mix and cook for few minutes on both sides
  • Now enjoy
