Lamb’s quarter is one of the best edible plants, but it is considered as a weed. It grows everywhere around our garden, we used to pull them out along with the other weeds and throw them away. When a friend’s mom visited us, she told that it is edible and very healthy. The other name of the lamb’s quarter plant is bathua in Hindi and Chakravarthy keerai in Tamil.
Then I read about it and learned that it is loaded with lots of nutrients, so, next time instead of throwing away, I wanted to try cooking them and made a stir fry from that, it was very tasty. Nowadays I often make this healthy dish. Here is the simple recipe if you haven’t eaten this, you should try making this.
