Cardinals are known as the beautiful birds and they visit our backyard everyday. They come and sit in a tree near the birdfeeders and it is so beautiful to watch. I always enjoy watching them through my kitchen window. Sometimes I have seen eight of them at a time, but they fight over territory and try chasing each other. I have attached a video of them eating sunflower seeds and enjoying the snow.

The males are bright red color with a crest on their head, black feathers on their face and they have a short, orange beak. The female cardinals have pale brown feathers and just the tips of their tails, wings and crests have a reddish hue.
