This is one of my favorite foods. Tapioca used to be a staple food in our hometown. Mashed tapioca with fish curry is still popular there. I make it often at our home, very easy to make and very tasty to eat. I already posted tapioca with coconut seasoning one of my favorite dish made from tapioca.

Ingredients
- Cooked tapioca ———— 2 lb
- Turmeric powder ——— 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- For grinding
- Grated coconut —— 1 tbsp
- Dry red chili ———— 1
- Garlic clove ————- 2
- Cumin seeds ———– 1/8 tsp
- Tiny piece of tamarind

- For seasoning
- Mustard seeds ——– 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chili ———— 3
- Curry leaves ———— few
- Cooking oil ————– 1 tbsp
How To Make
- While draining water from the cooked tapioca, do not drain it completely (keep around 1/2 cup of water in it), otherwise it will become very thick.
- Coarsely ground the things in the grinding list
- Add the ground paste, turmeric powder and salt into the cooked tapioca
- Mash all together using a potato masher
- Now do the seasoning
- And enjoy the mashed tapioca
