
Making this spinach poriyal is so easy, we can do it in 10 minutes. Let see the making of it.
- Ingredients
- Spinach 200 g (8 oz ), cut it into small pieces
- Chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- 1/4 cup grated coconut
- Salt to taste
- For Tempering
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp split urad dal
- 2 dry chilies

How to make
- Take a Kadai and heat it in medium heat
- Add oil and when it becomes hot, add the mustard, cumin, urad dal and dry chilies

- After the mustard seeds crackles, add the cut spinach and keep the stove in high heat.

- Saute for 2 to 3 minutes
- Add salt, chili powder and turmeric powder
- Mix them well with spinach and add the grated coconut
- Cook it for 2 more minutes and switch off the stove
- Spinach poriyal is ready to serve
- Enjoy with rice!
